The Universe is about to become quite still, (energetically speaking), partially because of a lengthy void Moon that begins Monday evening at 8:46 PM PST and lasts until the Moon enters Capricorn Tuesday evening at 9:00 PM PST.
It is important to remember that you should avoid engaging in important dealings during the lengthy void period as you'll probably find your attempts at pushing through on your goals hits a wall at high speed. Be prepared to stand down Tuesday and begin again Wednesday.
Because we have this pending lull in the action, I thought it might be a good time to discuss the energies and planets currently in Capricorn at this time. Capricorn is the sign that rules the 10th house of career in a traditional flat astrology chart.
Capricorn's planetary ruler is Saturn, the planet of restriction and delay. It is Father Time and the energy that causes all things mortal to die. It gives the physical body its structure via the bones and literally causes spiritual beings to assume human form and be able to move about in the physical world.
Now, your individual birth chart may have Capricorn placed somewhere other than the 10th house. Which means your 10th house sign and planet may have very different energies than the traditional rules suggest. This is one reason why knowing your personal chart can be empowering. Oh, and if you have moved some distance from your place of birth, that changes your chart too. In any case, knowing your chart gives you additional information about possible careers, the temperment of bosses, and the government you live under--as well as what you personally look up to during this lifetime.
I bring all of this up because as you have probably already noticed, humanity is a hot mess these days. The rise of authoritarian rule and the unraveling of democracy is literally in the news daily.
You might have already heard about the stellium of planets that are transiting through Capricorn. The three long term planets to pay attention to are Saturn (planetary ruler of Capricorn), Pluto (planetary ruler of Scorpio) and Jupiter (planetary ruler of Sagittarius).
If you are an Aries, Cancer, Libra or Capricorn you probably already sense transformation at work in your life personally in some way. If you are a Scorpio or Sagittarius, you too may be experiencing forced change/transformation in your life by virtue of the fact that your planetary rulers are engaged (or will be engaged) in an energetic dance with Pluto and Saturn.
The sense of imminent emergency, forced changes, or dire straits can be traced energetically back to what's happening in Capricorn. And it affects everyone on planet earth at this time, for the foreseeable future. Getting a handle on what it means to you personally is something you probably will want to do sooner rather than later.
For those who count themselves as magickal practitioners, I highly recommend you a) learn how these energies are likely to impact you going forward by learning your chart and then do magickal workings prior to starting new projects. The idea is to lay down an energetic foundation for those situations you hope to manifest. You wouldn't build a house without laying down a foundation first. That's literally what your workings will be doing for you.
Note: I use Magickal in place of the traditional spelling to denote something other than pulling rabbits from hats.
For those who are not magickally minded, learning about your individual chart is still recommended for future planning. And in place of energy/magickal workings I suggest prayer and or affirmations to again lay down an energetic track that will support you in creating what you desire + keep you safe.
For both magickal and non-magickal folks I also recommend intending safety for self, loved ones, planet, your individual country of residence + wise government leadership. That last one is key and also a GREAT idea right now.
In all cases there is a need to hold the intention for a raising of the vibration of humanity beyond the addiction to power and subterfuge that is currently holding sway. Humanity must raise its collective consciousness as high as possible. Learning how to do that is the work at hand. Let us all be individually diligent in our efforts so that we can transform our personal situations and the world for the better.
