Australia is burning. People literally had to hang out at a beach to escape the flames. Temperatures are rising globally and Climate Change in capital letters is now a rather big thing.
How did we get here? Why?! How could mankind have bought into the notion that destroying the only planet capable of supporting human life was a great idea?! I do not know the answer, but I am not content to sit and watch humanity go down with the ship either.
What I do know is that we are living in a very important era, both for the earth and for mankind. Jupiter, the South Node, Mercury, the Sun, Saturn and Pluto are all transiting through Capricorn. Energetically it's an atom bomb looking for places to go off (Pluto rules atomic power). This planetary lineup is now present in everyone's current transit chart, somewhere. And even if you don't know your chart, you can probably tell which part of your life experience wants to do the shaking and quaking thing.
But understand, there's a difference between being had by the energies and harnessing those energies for your personal goals.
Capricorn is a cardinal sign and all cardinal signs are linked, so if you have planets in Aries, Cancer, Libra or Capricorn you probably have a dilemma or two that you're needing to resolve.
The last time Saturn and Pluto got together was 1981-1982. Reagan became President, the American economy tanked and the Iran-Contra affair occurred. I just want to provide you with some idea how these energies have worked in the past.
In this most recent period, tRump sent a task force to take out an Iranian leader. Since tRump is far from a military mastermind, you can bet there were military experts who promoted this idea. Oh, and by the way, Iran, Russia and China were playing war games in the Gulf of Oman at the time.
A friend of mine told me her hubby thinks Russian generals are probably keen on shutting down the Straits of Hormuz now so they can control world energy. And you know what? He's probably right. This is just one possible way the energy of Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn could play out. There is also the tricky bit of business called retaliation as well.
Whenever I see assasinations, war or things of things of that ilk, I think Saturn, Mars/Pluto and maybe Neptune--as there's probably a bit of deception in the mix as well.
And that my friends is the energy backdrop as we head into 2020.
